About Victoria Cooper

Victoria Cooper researched and wrote our 100-year history. Vikki explored the material in our archives and created, with our help, a list of our milestones. She will documented our commentaries and interviews about the NCJW San Francisco Section's relentless strive for social justice. Based on material and information, kindly offered by members and supporters, Vikki structured a publication that chronologically reflects the major concerns and actions of our women over the years. The interviews and documents collected by Vikki have become a part of our Section’s oral and written archive.

Vikki has just finished working on two books for Jewish Family and Children's Services:  the JFCS history and the publication in February 2014 of a diary written by a 14-year-old girl in the Lodz ghetto but unpublished until now. Vikki is a longtime editor and communications professional, having worked in the media in Denver, in management consulting in Boston, and at three academic institutions--as an editor at MIT, Cornell, and San Francisco Art Institute. Vicki has also edited business books for McGraw-Hill and social science books for Westview Press.
